First off I would like to say this story is NOT my own. This story comes from dad, when he was in college. When my dad was younger, he went to college in New Jersey, while his girlfriend went to college in Baltimore, Maryland. (Keep in mind, she lived by the John Hopkins mental hospital.) He was visiting her, and was driving her back to apartment. Baltimore isn’t the nicest place, if your in a certain areas of the town. There are lots of homeless, and most times they sleep in parks, or benches by the streets. On there way back, they had to pass by a certain part of town, near the John Hopkins mental hospital, only a few blocks away. They were close to her apartment, a few blocks away, as my dad slams the brakes. He points to a girl around 18-20 years old, in a hospital gown, long hair, holding a sickle. She was standing at a bus stop, staring into the nothingness of the night. My dad, having the kind heart he has, yells out to her. “Hey uh, do you need some help?..” She has no response, still staring at the ground. My dad and his girlfriend shrug it off, and he starts the engine again. As they start to leave, she quickly stands up from her seat on the bench, wide eyed staring at my dad and his girlfriend, gripping the sickle in her hand, a serious frown turning to crazed grin. They slowly drove away, keeping an eye on her, as she stared, not blinking. She slowly started walk away, and my dad and his girlfriend got back safely to her apartment. Trying to take in what they saw, they went to bed without getting a wink of sleep. They never saw her again, but they were defiantly creeped out.
