This happened years ago, I was a very young and sensitive kid. At the time, I was about 4, but I could remember this clearly. I am 13 now, and I’ve been contemplating whether or not this was real. But, the expirience felt so real, and not a dream so I decided to share it. I was always a kid scared of everything. From the dark to even being by myself at night. However, this fear has shrunk since I was 4. It was a dark summer night, I had woken up to go use the bathroom. The only working bathroom in our house is upstairs, and my room was in the unfinished basement. So I crept up the stairs to make sure my grandfather didn’t catch me, luckily though, he was sound asleep on the couch. So I walked down the hall and I went into the bathroom to do my business. I always had some sort of fear being in the bathroom at night, I was always afraid of something being in the bathtub or something stalking me from the bathroom window staring into the bathroom as I use it. This one fateful night however, my nightmares were about to come true. I was using the bathroom when I heard noises outside of the bathroom window. Because of my curiousity I decided to grab the step stool and look out the window. I didn’t see anything, but as I got closer, the sound became clearer. It was a sort of muching noise, that sounded like it wascoming from a dog. The sound they make when they chew. At this point I was scared to death of what it could have been. Then as I continued to look put the window, it slowly stood up on two feet. It was furry and looked to have a dog shaped head. And it started at me. It’s eyes didn’t glow like your cliche monsters, but I could tell it was staring at me. I closed the curtains and ran out of that bathroom crying. My grandfather didn’t wale up but my uncle did. He asked me what was wrong and I told him there was something in the backyard. He went into the bathroom and he opened the window. I was scared the monster might take him. But then he yelled “Who’s out there?! If anyone is out there, get out of my backyard!” And to my surprise nothi happened. It was as if the monster was gone. It was at this point and all the way up until now that I question whether or not it was real, or a dream or imagination. But the fear was real, and I’ll never for get this moment ever.
