So I moved to this very old house that my dad’s step mom used to own. Nothing really happened at that house, just a few creeks in the night. This story is about my school. I was an 8 year old and this was around the time I started getting interested in ghosts.
Are teachers would always tell us kids that a man had died while building the school and he now would haunt the school. There was also a little boy who died there. Well I used to be very social and quickly made lots of friends. Me and my five friends made a little group and talked about the ghosts and how cool it was.
Well we never “met” the construction worker who fell off and died but we did meet the little boy and… well… to this day I don’t know who. Just a man in a top hat. A vivid memory is of me and my friend, Amanda, we were siting alone at a table for lunch because there was some field trip going on for a younger class.
Are cafeteria was split in half part of it the gym which had a weird wall thing they would remove for gym then put back for lunch. Well this gym had lights were if you went in there then the light would turn on but if you left they would turn off. Well the other half of the gym had the lights off, and there was a doorway in case the gym teacher had to get something from there office.
Well Amanda and I sat talking and I was looking at the door. I kept thinking I saw something so she looked over there to. In the dark doorway was the little boy I think we called Henry and the man in a top hat. We didn’t know anything about the man in the top hat like who he is. We called him Charles, Amanda came up with it.
They just stood there, we could never make out faces just a silhouette of the “ghosts”. They came out of the dark doorway and sat in front of us.
Then…. they were gone, they went in front of us then just disappeared. This happened in a few seconds like 15, so not long at all. After they disappeared we both looked at each other and asked if we had seen that. We both had.
Creeped out, we went to a were we usually had recess to tell the other girls. When I got there I found written in the woodchips, Charles, after we told the girls we all agreed to stop being in this “ghost club” for a while. Having seen that name, the one we made up, RIGHT THERE! Were we ALWAYS met up to talk about ghost and stuff creeped us out to much.
I still to this day don’t know if it was my imagination or if I saw this man in a hat with the little boy.
